General & Preventive Dentistry / Teeth Cleaning

Keep Your Smile Healthy for Years to Come

Regular preventive care is one of the best ways to maintain a healthy smile and catch potential problems before they become more complicated.
  • Teeth Cleaning

Professional dental cleanings remove plaque, tartar, and surface stains that regular brushing and flossing cannot completely eliminate. During your cleaning, your hygienist will also check your gums for signs of inflammation or gingivitis and provide personalized tips to help you maintain good oral health at home. Routine cleanings are an important part of preventing gum disease and keeping your teeth and gums healthy.

  • Fluoride

Fluoride helps strengthen tooth enamel and makes teeth more resistant to decay. A professional fluoride treatment can provide additional protection against cavities and may be especially beneficial for patients who are more susceptible to tooth decay or sensitivity.

  • Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer screenings are an important part of routine dental care. During your visit, we examine the tissues of your mouth, including your lips, cheeks, tongue, gums, and other areas, looking for unusual changes that may require further assessment. Early detection can make a significant difference, which is why oral cancer screening is incorporated into your regular dental care.

Restorative Dentistry

Repair & Restore Damaged Teeth

When a tooth has been damaged by decay, trauma, or wear, restorative dentistry can help restore its function, strength, and appearance.
  • Dental Fillings

Fillings are used to repair teeth affected by cavities and restore the tooth's shape and function. We may use tooth-coloured composite resin or other restorative materials depending on your individual needs, the location of the tooth, and your treatment goals.

  • Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a custom-made restoration that covers and protects a damaged or weakened tooth. Crowns may be recommended when a tooth has significant decay, has been damaged by trauma, has undergone root canal treatment, or needs additional structural support. Crowns can also be used to restore teeth supported by dental implants.

  • Root Canal Treatment

A root canal can often save a tooth that has become infected or severely damaged. During treatment, the affected tissue inside the tooth is removed, and the canals are carefully cleaned, disinfected, and sealed. Once treatment is complete, a crown or other restoration may be recommended to protect the tooth and restore its strength and function. Our goal is to make your treatment as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Love the Smile You See in the Mirror

If you're unhappy with the appearance of your teeth, cosmetic dentistry can help you achieve a smile that looks natural and complements your features. We offer several options depending on your goals, budget, and the condition of your teeth.
  • Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that uses tooth-coloured composite resin to improve the shape, size, colour, or appearance of teeth. It can be used to repair small chips, close minor gaps, reshape uneven teeth, or improve the overall appearance of your smile. The resin is carefully shaped and polished to blend naturally with your surrounding teeth. Composite bonding can often be completed in a single appointment and typically requires little to no removal of natural tooth structure.

  • Teeth Whitening

Professional teeth whitening can brighten your smile by removing stains and discoloration caused by coffee, tea, wine, tobacco, and other everyday habits. Depending on your needs and preferences, whitening may be completed in our office or with a professional take-home whitening kit.

  • Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom-made restorations designed to improve the appearance of your teeth. They can help address concerns such as discoloration, chips, gaps, and certain cosmetic irregularities. We carefully plan each case to create a smile that complements your natural features.

Invisalign®

Clear aligners offer a discreet alternative to traditional braces for patients looking to straighten their teeth. This series of custom-made, removable aligners gradually guides your teeth toward their planned positions. Because the aligners can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, they easily fit into your everyday routine.

Dentistry for Children and Teens

Building Healthy Smiles From the Start

Positive dental experiences during childhood can help set the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health. At Broadway Dental, we provide gentle, age-appropriate dental care for children and teens, with an emphasis on prevention, education, and making dental visits comfortable.
  • Children's Dentistry

We provide comprehensive dental care for children, from routine checkups and cleanings to preventive and restorative treatment. Our team focuses on creating positive experiences while helping children develop healthy brushing, flossing, and dietary habits. We work with parents and caregivers to monitor your child's developing smile and address concerns as they arise.

  • Teen Dentistry

The teenage years bring changes that can affect oral health, including changing habits, orthodontic treatment, diet, and increased independence with dental care. Regular dental visits give us an opportunity to monitor your teen's oral health, reinforce good habits, and provide guidance on brushing, flossing, diet, and other areas that can affect their smile.

  • Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are a preventive treatment that helps protect the deep grooves and pits on the chewing surfaces of back teeth. The sealant creates a smooth protective layer that makes these areas easier to keep clean and helps reduce the risk of cavities. Sealants are particularly useful for children and teens as their permanent molars develop.

Wisdom Teeth Extraction / Teeth Extraction

Although we always aim to preserve natural teeth whenever possible, sometimes an extraction is the healthiest option. A tooth may need to be removed because of severe decay, infection, damage, or other dental concerns. Our team takes every precaution to make the procedure as comfortable as possible and will discuss tooth replacement options when appropriate.

TMJ & Teeth Grinding / Sports Mouthguards

Jaw pain, headaches, clicking or popping when you chew, and morning jaw soreness can sometimes be related to problems with the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) or teeth grinding.
  • TMJ Treatment

TMJ disorders can cause discomfort in the jaw and surrounding muscles and may affect everyday activities such as eating and talking. We assess your symptoms and provide treatment recommendations based on your individual needs, with the goal of reducing discomfort and improving jaw function.

  • Nightguards & Teeth Grinding

Do you wake up with a sore jaw, headaches, or sensitive or worn teeth? You may be grinding or clenching your teeth while you sleep. A custom nightguard can provide a protective barrier between your teeth and help reduce the effects of nighttime grinding. A custom-fitted appliance is designed specifically for your mouth and can help protect your teeth from excessive wear.

  • Sports Mouthguards

Whether your child plays hockey, soccer, basketball, gymnastics, martial arts, or another sport, a properly fitted mouthguard can help protect their teeth from injury. We provide custom sports mouthguards made to fit your child's unique smile. A custom impression is taken and used to create a comfortable, secure-fitting mouthguard designed for their needs.

Laser Dentistry

Advanced Technology for Comfortable Dental Care

Dental lasers allow us to provide certain treatments with a minimally invasive approach. At Broadway Dental, laser technology can be used for several dental concerns.
  • Laser Bacterial Reduction

Laser Bacterial Reduction uses laser energy to reduce harmful bacteria around and below the gumline. It can be used as a complement to professional dental cleanings, particularly for patients who are managing gum disease or who may be at increased risk of periodontal problems.

  • Laser Desensitization

Do you experience a sharp sensation when you eat or drink something hot, cold, or sweet? Laser desensitization can help reduce tooth sensitivity by treating the microscopic pathways that contribute to sensitivity.

  • Canker Sore & Cold Sore Treatment

Laser treatment may help reduce discomfort and support faster healing when used for canker sores and cold sores. When treatment is provided early, laser therapy may also help reduce the severity of some cold sore outbreaks.

Always friendly and professional. I used to hate cleanings, because of past experiences with somewhat rough hygienists, but my experiences at Broadway Dental have been completely different, which I really appreciate.
